Early Life and Education

Kundan was born in Raxaul a small town in ‘East Champaran’ district in Bihar, India to Late Ratneshwar Prasad Verma and Smt. Ragini Verma and has a brother Chandan Kumar. His wife name is Surbhi Kumari.

He studied B.Tech in Information Technology and graduated from Dehradun Institute of Technology, Dehradun (India). 

It was while studying in primary schools at Raxaul that he became interested in social issues, human rights, and development, ultimately leading to his success. He studied B.Tech in Information Technology and graduated from Dehradun Institute of Technology, Dehradun (India).

Kundan was kidnapped. He was hidden away and scared for seven days. He didn’t think he would survive the ordeal, but he managed to escape from their clutches after seven days, and even endured a gunshot on his leg while escaping, only to dedicate himself to human rights and development. 

Career

Kundan is the founder of ‘The Voice Raiser’, India’s leading platform to raise a voice for people to fight against victimization and injustice. His notable works have been featured by national & international media like BBC, PTI, The Washington Post, Metro, Huffington Post, The New York Times, The Hindu, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Deccan Chronicle, The Independent, chron.com, derstandard.at and more. He has also raised close to 20 lakhs for needy human beings i.e: survivors, victims.

He’s a noted Human Rights Activist, Author of “Title is unTitled-, which talks about the apathy we have created in our society”. and Entrepreneur. He has been instrumental in highlighting the plight of and fighting for Indians in the country and around the world. 
As a noted Human Rights activist and member of human rights organizations, he was appointed an ambassador of Postcards for peace, a UK based international organization.

Case 1Kundan Srivastava put a call out to the Akhilesh Yadav, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, to press charges against Sangeeta Jain. The CCTV footage purportedly shows Jain assaulting Rajrani Jain, first with her bare hands, then with a piece of cloth used as a noose, a stone and a water heating rod.
Srivastava accuses Sangeeta of being a “cruel woman” who is currently in divorce proceedings with Sandeep, the victim’s son. According to the activist, police are dragging their feet because the accused is a woman. In his Facebook post, he writes

Case 3An Indian-origin woman in the US has been allegedly racially abused by an African-American man who called her inappropriate names and yelled “get out of here” when she was travelling in a busy commuter train.

Kundan Srivastava, the person who shared the video on Facebook, confirmed the address.
